Self-service terminal

In short and in plain language

A self-service terminal is a box with a screen where you do things on your own.

You can get cash there or buy a ticket, for example.

A German law has rules for many of them. They should be easy for all to use.

Definition
A self-service terminal is a device where customers complete a task themselves without staff. Examples are cash machines, ticket machines and check-in kiosks. The BFSG lists certain self-service terminals as products for which accessibility requirements can apply.
