Accessibility tailored to your industry

A checkout behaves differently from a citizen portal, and a corporate website has needs that differ from a product catalogue. We group our solutions around what your sector actually relies on day to day.

Digital accessibility cannot be treated as one-size-fits-all. Which WCAG 2.2 success criteria matter most depends heavily on what people come to do on your site. That is why we have organised our work into three industry focuses: the accessible online shop with its purchase-critical processes, the corporate website as a digital calling card, and our offering for the public sector with its specific legal duties. Each focus brings its own testing priorities, typical failure patterns and suitable remediation paths.

Three focuses, one consistent standard

For the accessible online shop, attention centres on the places where revenue is created: product filters, cart, checkout and payment must be fully operable by keyboard and screen reader, form errors must be unambiguous and status changes perceivable. Here we prefer to work with Shopware CE on an open-source basis, because the storefront can be adapted cleanly without losing the ability to update. The corporate website raises different questions: it should build trust, structure content clearly and remain accessible across all devices. Semantic structure, sufficient contrast, meaningful alternative text and consistent keyboard navigation are what count. For the public sector, additional rules beyond the BFSG often apply through the German accessibility regulation for public IT; here we accompany you from the accessibility statement and feedback procedure through to a documented conformance assessment. However different these three fields are, the underlying WCAG 2.2 AA standard and our testing methodology with manual checks remain equally reliable throughout.
