VO (EG)
Abbreviation for Verordnung der Europäischen Gemeinschaft
In short and in plain language
VO (EG) is the German short form for a rule of the old European Community.
Such a rule counts in each country of the Union. It counts until a new rule takes its place.
One example is the rights of people with a disability who fly.
Definition
VO (EG) is the German abbreviation for a regulation of the former European Community. Such regulations apply directly in the member states as long as they have not been repealed or replaced. The rights of air passengers with disabilities or reduced mobility, for example, are set out in such a regulation.
