Passenger transport service
In short and in plain language
A passenger transport service takes people by bus, train, ship or plane.
A German law has rules for such services. They cover the web page, the app, the ticket and news on the trip.
For city buses, trams and local trains, only the rules for ticket machines count.
Definition
A passenger transport service carries passengers by bus, rail, ship or air. The BFSG names elements of such services, such as websites, apps, electronic tickets and travel information, for which accessibility requirements can apply. For urban, suburban and regional transport, the law only applies the requirements for interactive self-service terminals.
